From the west side of Columbus Ave. at the Bray St. crosswalk we can get a good wide-angle view of the inbound station, the design of which is typical for all of the stops on the busway.

Note the raised platfform with tactile edging, real-time departure display, emergency call box, clear stop identification, and benches — better than some Green Line stops! The platform is 60 feet long, sufficient for an articulated bus.

Note how the auto traffic has been restricted to a single lane, with no parking, allowing the buses to berth withouty having to cross traffic. Emergency vehicles can also use the busway.

The busway uses a variety of unique traffic controls, including transit-specific traffic signals and lane use signs indicating the presence of a straight-through bus lane to the left of the left-turn lane.
